Brassica

 

The Brassica family, also known as cruciferous vegetables, includes many of the healthiest and easiest-to-grow leafy greens and vegetables like mustard, pechay, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, kale, and radish. These plants have broad leaves, thrive in cooler climates, and often have a mild to slightly spicy flavor. Grown primarily for their leaves, stems, or roots, Brassicas are a favorite in many home and urban gardens for their versatility and nutrition.
