Ramgo Seeds International marked its golden anniversary with a three-day celebration held from January 25 to 27 at its Research Farm in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija. Over 500 farmers from Cagayan to Central Luzon joined the event, which featured top-performing and newly trialed high-value crops—from salad vegetables to hybrid carrots and onions.

Ramgo President Pamela Ong Chan proudly highlighted the Heartland hybrid carrot, known for its vigorous growth, uniform dark orange roots, and crisp, sweet taste. With a potential yield of up to 3 tons from just ₱600 worth of seeds, Heartland continues to lead Ramgo’s carrot lineup. Also gaining attention was the Superex onion, a yellow granex variety preferred by major food chains for its large bulbs and high yield. Meanwhile, Red Dragon—a promising red onion variety praised for its resilience and long shelf life—has already delivered impressive returns for farmers like Marcos Manzano of Pangasinan. Pam thanked Ramgo’s supporters, reflecting on how her father started the company as a one-man seed seller and how it has since grown into a leader in the Philippine seed industry.
